Delete Your Account

Your data is yours. When you want to leave, you can — completely and permanently.

Delete from the App

The quickest way to delete your account

Step 1: Open Settings

Open the Shiftlyx app and navigate to Settings from the bottom navigation bar.

Step 2: Select Delete Account

Scroll to the bottom of Settings and tap Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm your decision.

Step 3: Confirm

Read the confirmation message carefully, then tap Confirm Delete. Your account and data will be queued for permanent deletion.

What Gets Deleted

All personal data associated with your account

Permanently deleted:

  • Account credentials and login information
  • Profile information (profession, band, hours, commute)
  • All shift data, patterns, and history
  • Fatigue scores and analytics history
  • Partner Sync connections and shared data
  • Preference learning data and affinity scores
  • Subscription and billing history (anonymised records may be retained for tax purposes)

Retained (anonymised):

  • Aggregated, anonymised usage analytics (PostHog) — these cannot be linked back to you and are kept for service improvement
  • Anonymised crash reports and diagnostic logs — retained for up to 90 days

Backup retention cycles may add up to 30 days beyond the standard deletion period. We securely overwrite all data using industry-standard practices.

We will process your request within 30 days of receiving it. You may need to verify your identity before we can proceed.

Important: Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. If you have an active subscription, you should cancel it through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store before deleting your account. We cannot process refunds for subscription payments — please contact Apple or Google support for refunds.
